The Spirit Who Waits at the Gate

They say she doesn’t speak.
Because the ones who need to meet her already hear.

She lives at the edge of the old tracks, where fog pools and time forgets to pass. She doesn’t call to you.
But if you linger, and listen — she might let you notice her.

Some call her the Whisper Spirit.
Others, the Gatekeeper of the In-Between.
A presence too soft for stories, too real for doubt.

She appears when people stand too long in places they meant to pass.
Corners of train platforms. Cracks in shrine walls.
The moment between “I could go” and “I’m not ready.”

They say she doesn’t offer answers. She only holds the space for your question. If you see her — don’t bow.
Just pause.
And if the bell rings once, from nowhere,
you’ll know she’s given you permission to begin
